The AEI provides them advice and trainings for each steps of the production process. The Deutsche Eesellschafr fur’ Technische Zusammenarbeir[GTZ] GmbH, a feder al compang of the international c ooperation for sustainable development, working on the five continents, handles the trainings provided to the farmers in the fields of maintenanc e, of repairs and operations [MRD], of field increase, of post harvest handlin g, of c ooperative management, and of compliant e vrith the market specific requirements. The initiative c ollaborates with both public and private sector providers. It also looks for leader farmers who will then, be abl e to train other farmers.
This technical manual gives the physical criterial used by the market players worldwide to assess the quality of the raw cashew nuts.
